GM NATIONAL JUNIOR GOLF TOUR 2008

2008 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The season will comprise of 16 regular 1 day events & one 2 day event.

Eight - 1-day events will be played in England .

Two - 1-day events & a 2-day event will be played in Scotland .

Two - 1-day events will be played in Wales .

Four - 1-day events will be played in Ireland

All the above events will be allocated in to 1 of the 5 Regions (See below dates)

Each Region will operate a separate Order of Merit & have 2 qualifying places available for each age group both boys & girls from the 9-10 age division & above to participate in the Semi-Finals, the only exception will be the Welsh Region, this will have only 1 place in each.

The age divisions 5-6 & 7-8 will have no Semi-Finals, only a Grand Final at Wildwood Golf & Country Club & each Region will have 3 places in each of these age divisions both boys & girls, the only exception will be the Welsh Region which will have only 2 places in each.

Semi-Final qualifiers from the 9-10 division and above will have the option to participate in one or both of the Semi-Finals to qualify for the Grand Final @ Woodhall Spa. The top 2 qualifiers in each age division both boys and girls from each Semi - Final will be eligible to participate in the Grand Final.

The winners of each age division both boys and girls at the Grand Final @ Woodhall Spa will qualify as a GM TOUR 2008 representative in the 2009 CALLAWAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ( subject to GM Tour having an allocated place, the 2009 allocation will be as in previous years, with the possibility of additional places).

Players in the 9-10 division and above may participate in as many events as they wish & as many Regional Section
qualifiers as they would like to in attempting to qualify for the Semi- finals.

The players in the age division 5-6, 7-8 attempting to qualify for the Grand Final may participate in as many events
as they wish & as many Regional Section qualifiers as they would like to in attempting to qualify for Grand Final.

The winners of each age division both boys and girls at the Grand Final will qualify as a GM TOUR 2008 representative
in the 2009 CALLAWAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ( subject to GM Tour having an allocated place, the 2009 allocation
will be as in previous years, with the possibility of additional places).

The One day event @ The Belfry will also be a wildcard event.The winner of each age division will qualify for the Semi-Finals, if they have not already done so (subject to availability and having initially attempted to gain an entry via a Regional Section). Players must be Tour Members to participate in this event.

All participants in the Semi-Final & Grand Finals will compete in all the rounds of the events.

A Tour Tasters section will also operate for juniors at each Regional Section event who are not able to commit to
play in enough events to obtain qualification to the Semi - Finals.

Entry fee will be from £25.

The only exception will be the Belfry in the North & Midlands Region.

Tour Tasters will not be able to progress to the Semi- Finals.

Graham Moore Golf Tour Ltd also holds the right to be able to invite any junior to participate in the Semi Finals that it feels is in the best interests of the development of the Tour for its members, as long as the junior is an existing member of the GM TOUR.

Age Division Criteria for 2008 GM National Junior Golf Tour is based on
Age as of 17th July 2008 for Age Divisions from 5-14 years
Age as of 18th July 2008 for Age Divisions from 15-21 years

Tour Membership fees for 2008 will be £50 per player

Price for each Regional one day event will be £35.00 / €53.
The Entry Fee for the two day event in Scotland will £70 / €105.

The exception will be the PGA NATIONAL @ The Belfry on the 13 th of August which will be £65.00 / €98
This is also an 18 hole event for the 7-8 age division players . (This event is not available for the 5-6 age division players)

Price for the Tour Masters (Semi-Final 1 ) will be £125.00 / €188

Price for the Tour Championship (Semi-Final 2) will be £125.00 / €188
INCLUSIVE OF BUFFET - LUNCH ON COMPLETION OF THE 3rd ROUND, PRE-PRIZE GIVING.

Price for Tournament Players Championship (GRAND FINAL) will be £ 140 / €210
INCLUSIVE OF SOUP, SANDWICH AND SOFT DRINK ON COMPLETION OF 2nd ROUND, PRE-PRIZE GIVING.

11th August – Styal Golf Club - Styal - Cheshire

12th August – The Hawkstone - Shrewsbury – Shropshire

13th August - PGA NATIONAL – The Belfry – West Midlands
(18 hole event for 7-8 division players)

18th August - Portal Championship -Tarporley - Cheshire

Callaway Junior World Championships qualifiers play off dates if required will be:

31st October 2008 @ Portal Championship - Cheshire

11th & 12th October Order of Merit Winners of each age group boys & girls receive free coaching with Graham Moore FPGA in St. Andrews
