RESULTS
Tour players & families had a great weekend at The Grove
This elegant venue has been included as another one of the undisputable top class venues that the GM Tour operates its events from, continuing a tradition started in July 2005.
This is the first of 6 Champions Series Tournament events and we had an excellent opening venue, Emma Goddard, twice Faldo Champion & Cheshire Girls, Toby O'Connor Wales Boys, James Tisdale Kansas Bethany College USA were among a very highly competitive field.
The tournament was fully supported by the Grove's excellent Management Team conducted by Becky, Sam & Brad giving all the assistance & cooperation needed to GM Golf Tour not only in the pre-preparations of the tournament but on the day for an easy and smooth run of the event
Due to the excellent relationship developed with the Grove London State, GM Golf Tour is delighted to include The GROVE as a regular fixture on its Tour calendar for future events
Social Note - Some of the players had the opportunity to mingle with celebrities like snooker player Ronny O'Sullivan, Ronny was happy to sign autographs for our tour players on Saturday, also Teddy Sheringham was at the Stables bar seated next to Tom Duncalf, as you no doubt know, Tom is a very keen footballer as well as a keen golfer so without a doubt the lad was made up to be seated next to a legend like Teddy.
