PRESS RELEASE

JUNIOR TOUR 2008

30 th November 2007

G M National Junior Tour goes regional for 2008, with Semi-Finals and a Grand Final being introduced.

This has been introduced to encourage more local participation at each venue, at the same time also giving other associations far and wide the incentive to compete in one of the Regional Sections.

The G M National Junior Tour enters its Third Year in 2008 and still remains the most realistic tour in the United Kingdom for juniors to obtain the feel of competing in a World Championship event.

G M National Junior Tour prides itself in running quality tournaments at high class venues, so ensuring that places for associated tournaments are earned by its Members / Tour Players long term competitive performance and not by RANDOM selection. This benefits our annual winners to be better prepared when competing at Internationally recognized follow on events, such as The Callaway Golf Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego California , USA .

The G M National Junior Tour has now firmly established its place on the JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT STAGE, to which extent SUNDERLAND OF SCOTLAND has added their association & sponsorship from 2007

G M National Junior Tour during 2008 will again be raising money for the Golf Foundation & will also pay a percentage of its Tournament entry fees as a donation.

PRESS RELEASE

GRAHAM MOORE INTERNATIONAL GOLF SCHOOLS

“Graham Moore's World of Golf expanding again”

The GMIGS/ Junior Golf Tour formed in 2004 for 2005 start, is now in full operation.

The tour has 14 divisions, 7 for boys & 7 for girls, 43 juniors from all over the Country have joined so far and 5 have entered for all 12 one day events covering England, Scotland, Ireland & Wales. 18 entries for all the Irish events have also been received to date.

Qualifiers from these events on the addition of a further entry fee will compete in a 3 day Tour Masters & 3 day Tour Championship. The Tour is the only one available in the UK and Ireland on full-size courses, with the juniors playing from tees relevant to their ages and scoring medal play gross.

The Order of Merit winners after all the events will also receive two day's coaching in St. Andrews with Worldwide renowned P.G.A. Golf Coach Graham Moore.

Moore quotes “With the addition of the Junior Tour I feel I now have all the stepping stones possible to train future tour players and enhance the future of Junior Golf in the United Kingdom & Ireland . As the Tour will enlighten the juniors of the experience of travel, different golf course styles and lengths, both of which are needed for further development of their golfing abilities. The aim of the GMIGS tour is to continue the good work other tours have done initially with creating enthusiasm competitiveness by advancing their shot making and scoring skills which will all go to help the Juniors reach the next level as they need experience of full size courses from distances relevant to their ages and to play gross medal events and not to have a number of shots to utilize.

In the end the GMIGS Tour has been designed to create the Tour players of the future and also if any Juniors qualify to play in world events they will not be shocked on arrival to find they now compete on longer courses having qualified on lesser length courses.

My team and I train juniors from 3 years old upwards through, schools tuition, starter centres & Introduction days.

Then the follow on step is with the well established Junior Golf Academies.

The next level is Individual Development Programmes with myself, which I have top amateurs and professionals participating.

The Junior Club formed in 2001 has helped to enhance & develop all the participant's abilities to the point where most need the next level of play.

All of the foregoing Programmes and activities have proven track records of success and with the addition of the Nationwide Junior Tour this will enhance abilities once more and bring all the best juniors from 6-21 years olds together from all over the UK and in time the World to once again enhance & develop the abilities of junior golf on a global scale”

PRESS RELEASE

The Welsh venues have now been finalised

The North Wales event will take place on the 8th August on the Isle of Anglesey at the Anglesey Golf Club (Rhosneigr)

The South Wales event will be at The Gower Golf Club, Swansea, West Glamorgan on 24th August

Moore quotes " With the addition of the two Welsh courses this now completes the 12 one day events on the tour

The two courses are very different, Rhosneigr is nearly at sea level and the suttle undulations on the fairways is true links golf

The Gower sits above Swansea on the Gower peninsula, the mountain view over Carmarthen Bay and Llanelli are breath taking, again the fairways are very undulated and different shot making is necessary on this hill side course"

Tour Masters 29th, 30th and 31st August 2005

Graham Moore Junior Golf Tour announces the venue for the three day Tour Masters - It will take place at Canford Magna, Wimborne, Dorset.

Moore Quotes - "This 45 Hole complex is ideal for the three day Masters, the Knighton course is excellent for the 6-8 year old players, although a little shorter than our Tour criteria for the boys it makes up for this by its undulating - mackenzie greens and the flags can be positioned in such a way to involve all the well placed hazards and mounds surrounding the greens.

The Parkland and Riverside courses which all other competitors will play will be a test for the Tour Members. Players on day one will play the Parkland Course, Day 2 The Riverside Course. The Final Round on Day 3 after the CUT the players will once again play on the Parkland Course".

PRESS RELEASE

The final one day venue for the England section of the Graham Moore Junior Golf Tour will take place in the South West of England at Ferndown Forest Golf Club near Bournemouth.

Moore Quotes - "The course is shorter than our Tour regulations for certain age categories, but it makes up for it with its narrow fairways and strategically positioned hazards.

I would call it a HIDDEN GEM and I have purposely incorporated it in the Tour Schedule to prove that it is not only distance, but the accuracy of your shot that counts to be a TOP GOLFER.

Our Tour Players will learn how to create a score from positional play instead of just a long drive.

It makes a great asset to the Tour Calendar".

"THE LAUNCH OF A NEW ERA"

GRAHAM MOORE INTERNATIONAL GOLF SCHOOLS

JUNIOR TOUR 2005

Moore quotes " I have formed Graham Moore Int. Golf Schools Junior Tour  due to the need for exceptional junior golfers of all nationalities to play against each other

As there are many large scale events in the USA such as the US Kids World Championships, the Calloway World event, the US PGA Junior series to name only a few

In Great Britain & Europe we have nothing of this kind

If these budding starlets both boys & girls are to be future champions they need to experience travel, languages & different cultures as well as different courses such as links, heathland & parkland to develop their golfing skills

The tour has been set up with this in mind

Initially the tour will be funded by myself and the players along with the overwhelming support of the golf courses where possible.

In addition to these supporters I'm looking at companies who see the niche market and long term potential to their business's, as well as the sports governing bodies to come on board to help the tour grow & succeed to provide an excellent training ground for future tour golfers

In 2001 I formed the first & still only Junior Golf Club which has been & remains a success with introducing over 600 juniors into the competitive side of the game

The junior tour is the next stepping stone for the club members along with many other talented starlets world wide
