The Club is called Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club, and is based @ two locations, which in it’s self is unique, they are Knights Grange Golf Course in Winsford and Hartford Golf Course in Northwich, both in Cheshire.

Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club has the full support of the English Golf Union, the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs, the Ladies Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association, along with the backing of the Mayor of Vale Royal Borough Council who is the Club’s Honorary Patron.

The Club is also an active member of the Vale Royal Sports Council.

The Club is administrated by Graham Moore International Golf Schools Staff, Maria Alzo-Miquel and myself.

There is an established Club Committee in place made up of Juniors along with Tony Goddard  as Club Secretary, Maria Alzo-Miquel as Treasurer & Handicap Secretary and Myself as the Club PGA Professional and the Club Chairman/Organizer. The Committee oversee the day to day running of the Club, making Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club unique because it is the only Golf Club designated for Junior’s and run by Junior’s.

The Captain in 2008 is Mr. Adam Staniforth and Club Captains have been appointed until 2010.

The Club has a bank account with Natwest Bank and has an Accountant and Solicitor for legal advice.

The Club also has in place a Handicap Secretary (Maria Alzo-Miquel) and a Handicap Committee who operate the recognized CONGU handicap system of the English Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association, who are the Governing Bodies of amateur golf.

In 2001 I formed the first & still only Junior Golf Club which has been & remains a success with introducing over 700 juniors into the competitive side of the game.

Since the club  began in 2001 some of our members have experienced remarkable achievements in other events in different parts of Europe & USA. The Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club Team in 2005 season competed against 5 Junior Sections from other Cheshire golf clubs  in a home and away basis and never were defeated.

2001 was a very successful first year for Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club, the Club has 83 Members as of 1^stJanuary 2008, and has seen it’s membership grow by 70% since it’s inauguration. The Club is already firmly established as "THE LARGEST GATHERING OF JUNIOR GOLFERS AT ANY GOLF CLUB IN THE COUNTY OF CHESHIRE".

In 2008 Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club, will run in excess of 54 Competitions as well as a number of other Club Events, mostly during the school holidays and at weekends. These will include the Club Championship, regular Medals, Matchplay Tournaments, Eclectic Competitions, Captain’s Day, Vice-President’s Day, Team Matches against other Golf Clubs and Squad Training, Winter and Summer Leagues and Series, Rules and Tuition Sessions, Weekends away and an overall Order of Merit.

The Club will also be holding it’s annual Mayor’s Charity Event, open to Juniors from Golf Clubs all over the country, in order to raise money for the Mayor’s chosen charities.

The Club accepts Juniors aged 3 years old up to 21 years old. Members can play in 9 or 18 hole Competitions depending on their age and ability. Also for Members under the age of eight, the Club run’s ‘G’s Little Tigers Section’ which enables the younger Members of the Club to compete in regular and structured Chipping, Putting, Swing and Rules Competitions whilst the more established Juniors play on the Course.

Becoming a Member of Vale Royal Millennium Junior Golf Club will enable you to be part of a structured long term development programme in a competitive and friendly atmosphere.
