“Jae’s Troon experience” April  2015

In her first LGU Nationally ranked event Jae finishes in a very creditable  8th positon  ahead of most of the England  International women’s team members

The  restricted field of 105 in The Helen Holm Scottish stroke play championship saw International players from Sweden, Italy, Ireland, Scotland  and France compete in Troon, Scotland

Jae was one of the highest handicap players in the field, consequently making the cut was the first goal, but with a 1st round 68 (4 under par) Jae lead the tournament with  Linnea Strom the 3rd ranked woman in the world going in to that tournament

Jae was also the most consistent overall player of round one, an excellent performance from the inexperienced 21 year old, Jae stepped in to the spot light late in the day with two halves of 34 which included 5 birdies. Jae now has a LGU and World Ranking from her achievement at Troon

“I was not expecting the items I had worked at with Graham during the winter to come together so soon in the season, but I remembered all that we had spoken about and to be honest I really felt at home in this quality of field. For me to be the joint leader after the 1st day was a dream come true and I learnt a lot from this experience which will hold me in good stead later in My golf career. Graham’s extensive knowledge and coaching  has helped me tremendously  and has enabled me to be in a great position to achieve My long term goals ”Jae Bowers April 2015

Jae’s score on the first day was outstanding  considering the CSS was 5 above the par of the course ,days two and three saw the conditions remain difficult and again the CSS was 5 & 6 above the par, but Jae despite this stayed in touch with the leading  players

“Jae played exceptionally well in her first event of this magnitude and to be leading such a quality field after the first day goes to show how the winter training has developed her game. I was not present in Troon, but kept in contact with Jae daily and we discussed how to come to terms with the new situations she was having to deal with. Jae conducted herself very well in unknown territory and gained valuable experience.

You are just starting out in your golfing life Jae, I am very proud of your achievements to date, well done and I know the best is still to come. You are a great ambassador of the GM Golf  Brand  ” Graham Moore FPGA April 2015

“Bowers shines in the sunshine state”  – March  2015

Jae Bowers, a regular Cheshire County  Ladies Team Member spent numerous weeks last winter working on her game with her coach Graham Moore FPGA in Spain and Florida

Whilst in the USA she also competed on The Moonlight Professional Mini Tour in the Amateur division with Graham caddying for her ,she won one tournament with a level par round had a second, a third place and on both occasions again scoring level par and was never outside the top 5 in all the tournaments she played

“Having “G” with me as My caddy really helped me with My course planning , game management and most importantly his support and encouragement throughout the tournament enabled me to stay focused .Off the course the developments I have implemented feel really good, but as with all major changes I am realistic to understand that they might take a number of months to actually shine through. I feel that I am beginning My season a more mature and positive player from My winter preparation ” Jae Bowers March 2015

Jae has an extensive season ahead of her in National and International events which will take her to Ireland and Switzerland as well as throughout the UK

“The work that Jae has put in during the winter with me has been exceptional considering the complexity of the developments, her dedication, her desire to do well and work ethic is second to nobody. Having only take up golf 3 years ago Jae has achieved a lot in a short time. Her competitive results in Florida showed me that she has what it takes to go as far as she wants too. The final developments I implemented after the final tournament in Florida may take a few weeks to become grooved in, but the future for Jae looks really promising with her continued work” Graham Moore FPGA  March 2015

EMMA - Merseyside' s first LET Pro

Emma Goddard Merseysides first ever Ladies European Tour Golfer plays her first Ladies European Tour event as a professional, making the cut and finishes in a very creditable 31st place, scoring level par in the 72 holes  Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco with a third round 68

“It is great to see that the continued work is paying off and that the dream we both have had for many years Emma is becoming reality, well done “G”

Graham Moore FPGA   March 2015

Good luck in Turkey !!!!

GM Golf Brand protégée EMMA GODDARD obtains her Ladies European Tour card (LET)

Emma began her coaching with Graham when she was 8 years old and has had an excellent amateur career since then, to name a few - winning the Faldo Series in 2007, subsequently playing in the Asian Grand Final at Misson Hills in China accompanied by Graham, where she finished in a very creditable 3rd place. She has twice been the Cheshire Ladies Champion and twice the winner of the Miguel Angel Jimenez trophy on GM European Junior Golf Tour.” All the years we have worked together, especially the early days with the GM Academies, then the individual development programmes, along with your dedication to succeed have certainly paid off, well done. I know the best is still to come

BLANCA  TRIUMPHANT AGAIN

Blanca Porta – Mirave  wins again at Llavaneras Golf Club, Barcelona, Spain  and extends  her lead in the order of merit by 67 points from her nearest rival on the  2014 Circuito Miguel Angel Jimenez

scoring a 73 gross, she reduced her handicap once again and has secured her place already in the Grand Final later in the year. “Blanca continues to develop with her maturity and although her practice is restricted due to her education, which I add is very important, her mind set when she is able to practice is very focused on what she wants to achieve. Well done Blanca

Graham Moore FPGA

ASHLEY COLLOFF the leading amateur in his first event on the Jamega Professional Golf Tour at the Dummer Golf Club, Hampshire

Ashley finished in 15th place scoring rounds of 70  & 67 (7 under par for the two rounds). Ashley also heads up the Amateur gross order of merit  on the Single figure  Golfers Tour, which is run through the Jamega Pro Tour events. “ I have coached Ashley over the past two years and initially  I had to work on re-building Ash’s swing, to enable him to return to and allow his natural talent to show, which he had unfortunately lost and his scoring average was increasing. Ash has worked very hard and for many a long hour on all I have taught him, his dedication is second to none. The result in his first Professional event is well deserved and with his continued work there is no reason why these results cannot be repeated on a regular basis”

LANCELOT SALISBURY BECOMES THE 2014 UNDER 13 BOYS COUNTY CHAMPION OF NORD PAS DE CALAIS - FRANCE

Lancelot who lives in Lille, France, scored 1 under gross par for 4 rounds, excellent consistent golf from so one so young, needless to say he had a handicap reduction to go with his victory

These scores were the best ever recorded in the event, no one had come close to being near to par never mind under par in previous years !!

“I began coaching Lancelot at the end of August 2013 and even though he had a number of items that I needed to change, I immediately knew that he had natural talent that I could bring out and develop. He has worked very well on all I have asked him to do. He makes regular visits to see me in England and Spain, as do the majority of My overseas talented juniors"
